I came across a verse, in one of my mails. And i find it so true. In my most difficult times, He is there. Sometimes i had neglected Him, too busy doing my own things in my own ways. But when i need Him the most, He is just right there for me. He has never leave me, even when i had forgotten about Him.

I was broken. And helpless. In the times when i was in desperate for comfort, i cry out to You, and You were there. Thank You God, for showering me with Your love and assurance. And keeping me safe in Your arms. I love You Father. :)

BRAND NEW SEMESTER ^^

Today is the first day of a brand new semester! Feels refreshed to face this new sem, yet still a little bit not used to studying cause have slacked for many weeks! x_x Went out to make contact lens with becka mei ya at Hougang. Hehes mei mei i wanna thank you for listening so much to me all these while ya~ You comforted me so much.. It's really a blessing to have you sister.. Love you! :)

Oh and at the contact lens shop we stayed for about an hour+++ there! Deciding whether mei should buy daily together with monthly de. I think the salesman there almost cracked his brain helping us to budget haha. He recommended mei to take Bausch & Lomb Purevision which can provide more comfort as it is designed for optimised oxygen level. Her eyes will tend to be abit red and the person explained that it is due to lacked of oxygen. And we had a misconception!! We always thought a person with dry eyes should wear contact lens with higher water content. BUT IT IS WRONG!!! We are so noob!!! He explained THOSE WITH DRY EYES SHOULD WEAR CONTACT LENS WITH LOWER WATER CONTENT.

I have checked several net sources and the rational for that is this. Most soft contact lenses are made from polymers and water - sometimes up to 70% water. While it’s this moist, the lens feels comfortable in your eye; but the water evaporates from the lens as the day progresses. So the lens absorbs water from your tears, leaving you with dry-feeling eyes. Generally speaking, the more water the lens contains, the more prone it is to lose its moisture, and the more it will absorb water from the tears.

So now, modern silicon hydrogel lenses are only about 30% water - much less than the 50-60% of traditional lenses. Also, the new polymers used in contact lenses help the lens to stay moist. And it is recommended for them to use Rigid Gas Permeable (RGP) contact lenses as they are made from polymeric material and does not contain any water. So water will not evaporate from the surface of the lens and absoption of tears won't occur! WooHOo! :D Darling uses that!

Hehes so we learnt new things today ^^ Had first lecture on Intro to Psychology. Was so interesting! The lecturer's facial expression was abit amusing haha. Hope it will be fun and fulfilling! It's an expensive mod! x . x Received an sms from San after lecture. She is so sweet always send sms of regards and encouragements to me. A great sister in christ who matters much to me. :)
